We were delighted to offer to our members and supporters a guided tour of the exhibition John Craxton: A Modern Odyssey at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester. The tour was led by the exhibition curator, Ian Collins, winner of the Anglo-Hellenic League Runciman Award 2022 for his biography John Craxton: A Life of Gifts. Our party enjoyed a morning tour of the exhibition at Pallant House Gallery, followed, in the afternoon, by a viewing in Chichester Cathedral of Craxton’s famous tapestry Landscape with the Elements (1975-76), which is on temporary display at the cathedral, where Craxton was a boy chorister.
