Launch of the Anglo-Hellenic League Runciman Award 2025

We are pleased to announce the call to publishers for nominations for the Anglo-Hellenic League Runciman Award 2025. Publishers are invited to make up to seven nominations each for books that fall within the specifications and criteria of the award.  For the competition in 2025, Dr Sofka Zinovieff will take over as chair of the panel of judges. Dr Vassiliki Kolocotroni (Glasgow), Prof. Ingela Nilsson (Uppsala) and Prof. Oliver Thomas (Nottingham) re-join the panel. Prof. Esther Eidinow (Bristol) joins it for the first time.

Nominations are open until 16 December 2024. The judges expect to draw up and publish their long list early in January 2025. A short list will be announced in April. The winner will be revealed at an Award Ceremony in London on Friday 13 June 2025.
